Life Change Management
You may not be married (now). You may only have 1 child (now). You may be thinking about up-sizing your home. You may be in the midst of a career change. No matter your present circumstances, being prepared for the expected and unexpected changes in your life will minimize disruption and potential grief when the change come upon you. Don’t put it off thinking, “I’ll do it when…”

At Hancock Legal, Life Change Management is a holistic approach to understanding and managing the legal issues associated with the transitions in your home, your family, your health, your money and your business.

At Hancock Legal, we have a diverse set of attorneys with expertise in those areas of law that regularly impact our clients’ lives. Rather than honing a niche in one practice area, we are prepared to attend to each client, serving as legal counsel in the ways they need it.

There will be circumstances in which another attorney will be better equipped to handle your legal matter – for instance, at Hancock Legal, we do not institute personal injury claims. But, we have an ever-expanding network of trusted referrals to practitioners with expertise in the jurisdictions and practice areas our clients may need.

Our Fee Philosophy
Life Change Management is an ongoing process Having an effective LCM plan can avoid expensive legal costs that often arise when the life changes actually occur and generate tax savings that greatly exceed the legal fees that paid for the plan. At Hancock Legal, we believe that the fees for our clients should be fair and predictable.

For the majority of our clients, we bill a flat-fee for most services, particularly when it comes to creating a plan that gives you a picture of what you need and what you will be getting for the cost. With a flat-fee structure, you have the confidence that you will receive the documents and counsel you need and get answers to your questions and concerns without hidden costs. Some of our services, like litigation, are more suited to an hourly structure. For hourly services, we prepare cost estimates and budgets, and we give our clients advance information about when and what to expect in our bills.
